Olympic Boulevard Project
The Olympic Boulevard Improvements Project closes a significant gap in Santa Monica's pedestrian network by improving pedestrian crossings, constructing a new sidewalk, and installing pedestrian lighting along the north side of Olympic Boulevard between 26th Street and Stewart Street. New pedestrian enhancements will directly serve the adjacent Metro Light Rail - Bergamot Station. This project was prioritized through the Pedestrian Action Plan (2016) and Bergamot Area Plan (2013) for improving linkages to public transit, facilitating walking, and supporting a safer barrier-free network.
Project is currently in the design phase.
