2020 is here and our beautiful beachside City has countless events, programs, and activities to offer.  Here are a few not-to-miss, New Year offerings from the City ‘s Community Recreation team!

1. Santa Monica Swim Center – Daily Drop-In Swim

Want to start your 2020 right? The Santa Monica Swim Center provides lanes for drop-in swimmers of all ages. Come out and enjoy swimming in our beautiful facility. For more info on lane availability please use the link below.

2. Memorial Park Fitness Room

Is getting into better shape one of your New Year’s resolutions? The Memorial Park fitness room is your low-cost, hassle free solution. Come see all the fitness equipment available for you to use without the hassle of expensive health club memberships and fees. Use the link below for more information on how you can get fit in 2020.

3. Pickleball at Memorial Park

What exactly is Pickleball? Pickleball is part tennis, part badminton, part ping-pong and a whole lot of fun! Come out and try the hottest new sport in Santa Monica. Pickleball is played on the tennis courts at Memorial Park and is open to players 18 years of age and older. 4. The Cove Santa Monica Skate Park

The Cove Skate Park is the place to be on the Westside if you love skateboarding and BMX bike riding. The Cove is a 20,000 sq. ft skatepark at Memorial Park with ramps, bowls, stairs, pool with tile coping, over-vert bowl, and the Douglas Park rail. 5. Drop-In Soccer Program

Santa Monica offers recreational, drop-in soccer at the beautiful soccer fields at Airport Park. Participants (16 years of age or older) may arrive at 8:30 p.m. to register and play. Space is limited to the first 66 participants and priority is given to Santa Monica residents with proof of residency. For more info on the Drop-In Soccer program, please use the link below.
