Santa Monica's Police Activities League firmly believes that all youth are assets in our community. PAL's programs and activities are used as a vehicle to help youth develop skills that build self-esteem and encourage them to reach their full potential. Available to youth ages 6-17, PAL’s after-school programs focus on educational, cultural, fitness and recreation. Events for PAL youth and their families are available throughout the year and foster a sense of community and fun. A few highlights from the holidays include:

PAL’s Halloween Spooktacular is a free community event that helps to maintain a safe place for youth and their families on Halloween night.  Kids enjoy trick-or-treating, games, activities, and spooky mazes at the PAL Youth Center.

PAL’s Thanksgiving Dinner is a fun gathering for families and friends.  Guests enjoy a full Thanksgiving dinner at the PAL Youth Center.

The Best Gift Ever Toy Drive was established in 2006 to provide over 300 Santa Monica children with gifts for the holiday season. The pre-wrapped gifts are given to the children during PAL's annual Holiday Workshop with Santa. Each child that comes to PAL on this special day receives a gift donated by the greater Santa Monica community.

Santa Monica Police Activities League is a public-private partnership operated by the City of Santa Monica. For inquiries call (310) 458-8988 or visit smpal.org.
