Join Big Blue Bus (BBB) at one of our upcoming senior TAP card workshops. Older adults can ride BBB for just $0.50 with a Senior TAP card, which allows those age 62 and older to receive reduced fares on BBB, as well as Metro Bus and Rail, and other TAP participating agencies. Eligible applicants only need to bring a valid photo ID (e.g. Driver's License, State ID, Passport).

During the workshop, older adults learn how to use a TAP card, and discover popular destinations in the region that are easily accessible by public transit, with use of the card. Additionally, staff will help attendees fill out their reduced fare application, snap their application photo, and provide an optional temporary TAP card for immediate use.

Plus, staff members from Metro's On the Move Riders Club will be on hand at the upcoming Virginia Avenue Park workshops to provide information about riding Metro Bus and Rail, and help you get started with a travel club nearby.
