Documentary Screening: RBG

Mon, Oct 1 at 7 p.m. in the MLK Jr. Auditorium at the Main Library

Rediscovering U: A Collaboration of Fun and Exploration

Sat, Oct 20 from 1 - 4 p.m. at the UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica

Kick into your 50s and beyond with a day designed just for you.  Keynote address by Sandra Tsing Loh, author, writer, radio personality and professor.  Workshops, presentations, and demonstrations focus on vibrant, healthy aging and wellbeing, promoting purposeful aging and being engaged. Nosferatu: Screening with Live Score

Tue, Oct 30 at 7 p.m. in the MLK Jr. Auditorium at the Main Library

The Jack Curtis Dubowsky Ensemble returns with its third annual Halloween silent movie screening with live score. The 1922 German Expressionist horror film, directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schreck as the vampire Count Orlok, is an unauthorized adaption of Bram Stoker’s vampire classic, Dracula. (Runtime: 94 min.) smpl.org
