Classes at the Beach House
The Beach House offers a variety of classes for youth and adult participants. Classes are offered on a year-round or seasonal basis. All classes at the Beach House provide opportunities to enjoy the amenities available at this unique oceanfront venue. Spring Recreation Registration
- Santa Monica Residents: Wednesday, January 28 at 6AM
- Non-Residents: Wednesday, February 4 at 6AM
Summer Recreation Registration
- Santa Monica Residents: Wednesday, April 22 at 6AM
- Non-Residents: Wednesday, April 29 at 6AM
Online registration is required; walk-up registration is not available.

Classes are 30 minutes long* and run for 4 sessions. Sessions are held on Saturdays or Sundays between 9:15 AM and 12:40 PM. Choose from the following session dates:
Parent & Me Swim Lessons
Ages 6 months to 3 years | Water Introduction | Register Here
Designed for parent and child interaction, this class focuses on acquainting a child with the water through play and song. Emphasis is placed on teaching parents techniques to stimulate development of their child's fundamental introductory skills such as bubble blowing, floating, kicking and beginning arm motions.
Classes are 30 minutes long* and run for 4 sessions. Sessions are held on Saturdays or Sundays at 9:15AM and 10:25AM. Choose from the following session dates:
Bounce Children's Gym
Ages 6 months to 9 years | Fridays | Register Here
For children from 6 months up to 9 years old, Bounce’s outdoor fitness classes have been described as “the best outdoor gym experience for kids in LA”. With age-appropriate classes focusing on kids’ physical and emotional development while having fun in the sun, these classes are a great way for kids to challenge themselves to step a little faster, climb a little higher and jump a little further.

Spring break camp at the beach is back!! Join your favorite coaches for obstacle courses, agility courses, beach sports, ocean-themed arts & crafts, splash pad parties, swimming, boogie boarding, kite flying, scavenger hunts & metal detector hunts for beach treasures, nature walks, creative & performance time, sandcastle building competitions, ocean science experiments, fun-filled games & activities and more!
Each camp includes five sessions, Monday through Friday. Choose from the following week-long camps:

- April 6 to April 10
ADULT CLASSES
Floating Fitness Workout

Floating Fitness Workouts with BOGAFiT is a vigorous class that builds strength, deepens flexibility, and improves balance and coordination. Floating Fitness Workouts incorporate elements of HIIT, calisthenics, and stand-up paddle boarding that enhance the benefits of traditional fitness movements while minimizing the impacts of traditional land exercises, creating high intensity workouts that have a low impact on your body.
Wear a bathing suit or workout clothes. Be ready to get wet—you may fall into the pool!
Yoga
Tuesdays & Thursdays | 10:30AM - 11:30AM | Register Here
Come experience the benefits of classical yoga encompassing postures for flexibility, strength and balance, breathing practices to calm the nervous system, and guided relaxation to soothe your mind.
All levels are welcome. Please bring a yoga mat and any props you like to use with you.
