My name is Barry A. Snell, and I am running for city council because I am deeply committed to serving my community and creating positive change in the lives of our residents. 

With my experience as a CPA and small business owner, I prioritize fairness and equity in policy-making and budgeting. 

As an Elected Trustee for Santa Monica Community College, I bring the knowledge and skills to make informed decisions that have a positive impact on individuals' lives. 

On the City Council, I will focus on: (1) Public Safety, by fully funding our first responders to reduce emergency response times. (2) Affordability and Housing, by streamlining bureaucratic processes to ease the construction of affordable housing while allowing our residents to age in place. (3) Investing In Our Infrastructure through comprehensive street planning to prioritize safety and reduce traffic congestion with input from transportation planners.

Mi nombre es Barry A. Snell, y me postulo para el concejo municipal porque estoy profundamente comprometido con servir a mi comunidad y crear un cambio positivo en la vida de nuestros residentes. 

Con mi experiencia como CPA y propietario de una pequeña empresa, priorizo la equidad y la justicia en la elaboración de políticas y presupuestos.

Como Síndico Electo para el Colegio Comunitario de Santa Monica, aporto el conocimiento y las habilidades necesarias para tomar decisiones informadas que tengan un impacto positivo en la vida de las personas.

En el Concejo Municipal, me centraré en: (1) Seguridad Pública, financiando plenamente a nuestros equipos de emergencias para reducir los tiempos de respuesta. (2) Asequibilidad y Vivienda, agilizando los procesos burocráticos para facilitar la construcción de viviendas asequibles mientras permitimos que nuestros residentes envejezcan en su lugar. (3) Inversión en Nuestra Infraestructura a través de una planificación integral de las calles para priorizar la seguridad y reducir la congestión del tráfico con la opinión de planificadores de transporte.
