In honor of SaMo Pride 2023, Santa Monica Cultural Affairs and the Annenberg Community Beach House engage local poets Joshua Jennifer Espinoza and Eileen Elizabeth Espinoza to present a 3-hour masterclass on the lives and work of essential figures in queer women’s literature.
Beginning with the poet Sappho herself and tracing her creative lineage across generations of lesbian poets from Emily Dickinson to Mary Oliver, Jennifer and Eileen will collaboratively guide participants in generating their own new writing through exercises and engaged discussions. This event is FREE! Limited to 20 Participants.
