Oh My GOURD !!!

Join us for a day celebrating the diversity of the gourd family.  Knuckleheads, Warty Goblins and a 4 foot Trombetta Squash will take center stage.  Many of these are considered decoration and then simply discarded (hopefully in the green bins).  

We'll be cutting 'em up, and by that I don't mean telling squash jokes, and doing some braising, maybe some pumpkin puree pancakes, and if lead artist is around, perhaps even get some light tempura pumpkin going on.

Pancakes and Planting, what could be better.  With a little luck, we'll be putting the first fruit trees into the expanded orchard.  

We'll have plenty of art supplies for young and young at heart to help decorate Ishihara with the creatures of the night !!

Come dressed in your scariest or funniest outfit.  Watch out for the Werewolf, it's been rumored to appear on and around Halloween at Ishihara Park.
