This coming-of-age film follows Rose, a Filipina undocumented immigrant, who dreams of leaving her small town in Texas and becoming a country singer. Her life is turned upside down, and her goal is placed on hold when her mother is taken away by ICE officials. Faced with this reality, Rose is forced to leave home and navigate life in Austin as her mother is detained at a detention center. Rated PG-13. Runtime: 94 min.
