NEW YEAR !! NEW GARDEN !!

What a better way to start off the New Year than to talk about planting a New Garden.

Cool weather seeds and seedlings for distribution at this community event at the Marine Park Community Garden.

In celebrating our 50th Anniversary of Community Gardens, our team has a goal of helping initiate 50 new gardens throughout Santa Monica.  Likely to be very small spaces, come learn how you can be part of this project, whether it's a space in your own yard or identifying a neighboring space that could use some love.

Hot coffee, warm smiles and steamy compost make for an interesting morning.
