Mexican Presence in Santa Monica Project

Santa Monica Public Library invites you to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Santa Monica with an introduction to the Mexican Presence in Santa Monica Project, a group of community members seeking to document the rich cultural history, genealogy, and influence of Mexican American families in Santa Monica through historic images, oral histories, and other primary resources. Join us to see highlights from the collection in the Library’s Imagine Santa Monica local history database, meet some of the families piloting the project, and learn how you can contribute your family’s story as well.
