GoSaMo Achievement Awards
The GoSaMo Achievement Awards celebrate Santa Monica businesses that make a notable effort to reduce traffic congestion and greenhouse gas emissions through outstanding sustainable commute programs and consistent improvements to their programs. Together, the tremendous work of GoSaMo Achievement Awards winners help ensure that Santa Monica’s economic recovery is built on sustainable mobility.
How to Earn Points toward a GoSaMo Achievement Award
Awards are earned through a transparent points system. There are no applications or nominations. If a business earns enough points in a year they automatically qualify for an award and earning more points earns a higher tier award. Employers earn points by improving their Average Vehicle Ridership (AVR), working with the GoSaMo TMO and by accomplishing certain actions.
There is still time to earn points for the 2021-22 cycle!

The Third Annual GoSaMo Achievement Awards held via Zoom on March 31, 2021
The 2019-2020 GoSaMo Achievement Awards recognized 21 employers for their efforts during the 2019-2020 period. They represent a diverse group of large and small businesses that spanned a wide range of industries and locations throughout the City. Combined, these businesses removed more than 200 additional vehicle trips from Santa Monica streets every day!
