The Santa Monica Fire Department is proud to provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) services from every neighborhood fire station, ensuring rapid, high-quality medical care across the community. Each of our fire engines is staffed with paramedic-trained firefighters equipped to respond immediately to any 9-1-1 medical emergency. These highly skilled professionals are trained in advanced airway management, cardiac monitoring, medication administration, and many other life-saving interventions—bringing advanced level emergency care to your doorstep within minutes.
