Pier Fire Sprinkler Replacement Project
The City of Santa Monica has contracted with Jilk Heavy Construction to replace sprinkler heads, piping, and pipe supports underneath the Pier to provide continued fire protection to the wooden decking and substructure. Work is anticipated to be completed by June 2024.
- Pedestrian and bicycle beach bike path is fully open.
