Santa Monica City Hall

Santa Monica City Hall is open 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and alternating Fridays. The following services are available by appointment or for walk-in support. Please following the guidance below. Permit center services are accessible from the south entrance to City Hall and information is linked below. 

City Attorney: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Thursday and every other Friday by walk in 

City Clerk: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Thursday and every other Friday; passport appointments are 9 a.m. to noon 

Rent Control: 8 a.m. -12:30 and 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday and every other Friday; appointments preferred by contacting (310) 458-8751 or rentcontrol@santamonica.gov.
