Pico Branch Library
Tuesday – Thursday, 12 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Friday & Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Located in Virginia Avenue Park, the Pico Branch Library serves as a community hub that celebrates the cultures of the surrounding neighborhood through year-round festivals and events. The Pico Branch reopened for in-person service in December 2021.
The Pico Branch has collections in English, Spanish, and Amharic, as well as study rooms that can be borrowed by library card holders.
The multi-award-winning structure is platinum-rated by the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program and was built with a focus on responsible and sustainable construction practices. With a strong visual connection to the park outside, the library makes use of Southern California’s abundance of natural light, and is 100 percent powered by renewable energy.
