Pico Branch Library
Located in Virginia Avenue Park, the Pico Branch Library serves as a community hub that celebrates the cultures of the surrounding neighborhood through year-round festivals and events.
The library has collections in multiple languages — including Spanish and Amharic.
The multi-award-winning structure is platinum-rated by the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program and was built with a focus on responsible and sustainable construction practices. With a strong visual connection to the park outside, the library makes use of Southern California’s abundance of natural light, and is 100 percent powered by renewable energy.
