Chess Park
Chess Park is within walking distance of the Santa Monica Pier. In May 2025, chess boards were relocated to the Palisades Park picnic are at Ocean Avenue between Alta Avenue and Palisades Avenue. In March 2022, Chess Park tables, chairs, and chess components had been removed and the park is currently flexible, nonprogrammed beachfront open space, open to diverse users.
