Children and their families are invited to a Multicultural Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 24, from 11:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Santa Monica Main Library, 601 Santa Monica Boulevard. The Harvest Festival will include a storyteller, games and crafts, and not one, but TWO costume parades!

Come listen to storyteller Barbara Wong as she weaves her strange and eerie tales from Mexico, China & the United States at 11:00 am and 12:30 pm in the Multipurpose Room. Children can enjoy games and crafts celebrating holidays such as Diwali, the Mid-Autumn Festival, Halloween, and Dia de los Muertos in the Children’s Activity Room from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Finally, for kids who want to try out those costumes early, there will be a costume parade through the children’s area at 11:45 pm and 1:15 pm.
