Santa Monica Public Library presents "Coding for Young Children"

Santa Monica, California – Experts agree, learning to code at a young age helps children solve everyday problems and sets them up for a lifetime of opportunities.  Help your child stay ahead of the curve by joining us at the Main Library for the “Coding for Young Children” workshop on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 3:45 pm.  During this free 60 minute program for children ages 5-10, kids will be engaged in games and activities designed to develop creative thinking and simple coding skills.  This is a sign-up only event and will be held in the Children’s Activity Room at the Santa Monica Main Library at 601 Santa Monica Blvd.  Please contact the Youth Reference desk at 310-458-8621 to register.

The Santa Monica Public Library is wheelchair-accessible. For special disabled services, call Library Administration at (310) 458-8606 at least one week prior to event. The Main Library is served by Big Blue Bus routes 1, 7, R7, R10 and 18.  Big Blue Bus lines 2, 3, 3M, 5 and 9 also stop within a short walking distance. Ride your bike. Bicycle parking racks are available at the library.
