The Annual Fall Festival at Virginia Avenue Park is October 1st

SANTA MONICA, Calif. – The City of Santa Monica’s Annual Fall Festival at Virginia Avenue Park is weeks away! Come out and enjoy fall festivities at one of your favorite parks with live music and dancing, tons of activities hosted by community organizations, and the traditional hay bale maze!

Where:  Virginia Avenue Park Campus,
2201 Pico Blvd. Santa Monica, CA 90405

When:  Saturday, October 1, 2016, 3 – 7 p.m.

What:  Come out to Virginia Avenue Park to celebrate the season with traditional fall games and activities. Attendees will enjoy a hay bale maze, family pumpkin decorating, a Halloween costume swap, campfire storytelling, and music from the Brotherhood Band, Santa Monica Youth Orchestra, and line dance lessons with DJ Rick. 

The event will feature the annual Santa Monica College glass pumpkin sale, a bike rodeo presented by Santa Monica Bike Center, Santa Monica Spoke, Safe Routes to School, and Sustainable Streets. Santa Monica Police Department Officers will lead fall games and other activities will be hosted by the Pico Improvement Organization, Familias Latinas Unidas, reDiscovery Center, and a whole host of City departments.  As dusk comes to Virginia Avenue Park, the fun continues with a circus in a box by Jumbo Shrimp Circus.
