Young Adult Stars Margaret Stohl, Marie Lu & Victoria Aveyard at Santa Monica Public Library

March 27, 2017 2:42 PM

Santa Monica, California – Santa Monica Public Library is pleased to welcome back young adult (YA) author and YALLWEST founder Margaret Stohl to the Main Library, 601 Santa Monica Blvd., for the launch party for her newest novel Royce Rolls on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 3:00 p.m.

Margaret Stohl is the #1 best-selling co-author of the Beautiful Creatures book series, the first installment of which was written at the Santa Monica Public Library by Stohl and frequent writing partner Kami Garcia. Also a successful solo author of fantasy novels (the Icons series) and comic book fiction (Marvel’s Black Widow: Forever Red), Stohl ventures now into new territory with Royce Rolls, a contemporary young adult novel about a Kardashian-like reality show starlet navigating life and love in Los Angeles.  To celebrate the release of the book, Stohl welcomes fellow young adult novelists Marie Lu (the Legend and Young Elites series) and Victoria Aveyard (the Red Queen series) for an author talk, followed by a book sale and signing.

This program is free and open to all ages.  Seating is limited and on a first arrival basis.  The Santa Monica Public Library is wheelchair accessible. For disability-related accommodations, call Library Administration at (310) 458-8606 at least one week prior to event. The Main Library is served by Big Blue Bus routes 1, R10 and 18. Ride your bike.
