Santa Monica, California – The Santa Monica Public Library is pleased to welcome author and philanthropist Eunice David for a discussion of her new book on her husband, legendary musician Hal David, on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Main Library’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Blvd.

For generations, lyricist Hal David has had music fans singing along to his songs, from romantic classics like I Say a Little Prayer and Close to You to universal charmers like Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head and What’s New, Pussycat?  Join us as we take a music-filled stroll down memory lane with Hal’s widow Eunice, who shares the background behind some of his most memorable tunes, as well as stories from her new book Hal David: His Magic Moments.  A book sale and signing, provided by Larry Edmunds Bookstore, follows the program.
