Statement Regarding Alleged Conflicts of Interest Reported in the News

The City of Santa Monica is committed to maintaining the highest standards of transparency and integrity in our practices. The City does not currently do business with Keygent LLC or TELACU Construction Management and has no record of doing business with either entity in the past. In line with appropriate past practices, the City Clerk and City Attorney have notified the agencies with relevant jurisdiction (the California Fair Political Practices Commission and the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office) of the concerns raised by the article in the Los Angeles Times.
