January 26, 2018 9:54 AM

Santa Monica, California - Teens and dance fans will be converging on the Santa Monica Public Library on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., as vivacious teen sensation Chloe Lukasiak visits the Main Library's Martin Luther King, Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Boulevard, to discuss her new book and participate in a photo op meet-and-greet with her fans.

Perhaps best known for her role as one of the original young dancers featured on the Lifetime Television series Dance Moms, sixteen year-old Chloe Lukasiak has built on her talent and enthusiasm for dance to become an actress, a teen ambassador for the United Nations' world peace efforts, and a noted social media influencer with millions of followers. Now, in her new book, Girl on Pointe: Chloe’s Guide to Taking on the World, Lukasiak offers her fans and followers an intimate look inside her busy world, and shares a message of self-acceptance and kindness that she hopes will inspire readers of all ages to be their very best selves.  In her presentation at Santa Monica Public Library, Chloe offers fans a peek inside the book and some personal insight into her life. Following her onstage talk, fans purchasing a copy of Chloe’s new book will get an opportunity to meet and take a personal photo with Chloe.

This program is free and open to all, but the onstage portion of the program is ticketed.  Free tickets for auditorium seating will be released one hour prior to the program, on a first come, first served basis.  One ticket per guest, and guests must be present to receive a ticket. No prior reservations are available.  Early arrival is recommended, as tickets will likely go quickly.  On-site book sales, for the book purchase/photo op, will be provided by Larry Edmunds Bookshop.  Miss Lukasiak will be signing copies of her book only, no personalizations or memorabilia.

The Santa Monica Public Library is wheelchair accessible. For disability-related accommodations, call Library Administration at (310) 458-8606 at least one week prior to event. The Main Library is served by Big Blue Bus routes 1, R10 and 18. Ride your bike. Bicycle parking racks are available at the library.
