Come Out and Have a Beach Ball in Santa Monica

SANTA MONICA, Calif. –  On Sunday, April 28, the Annenberg Community Beach House will celebrate its 10th anniversary. A vibrant public destination, the City of Santa Monica is excited to celebrate this important milestone at the beach house. Celebratory remarks will begin at 10:30 a. m., followed by a photo op moment from the stage and then a community group photo in the sand with participants creating the iconic Beach House beach ball.

WHEN: Sunday, April 28, 10:30 a.m. 

WHERE: Annenberg Community Beach House, 415 Pacific Coast Highway, Santa Monica, CA (Media parking is available in the Beach House lot.)

WHAT: This event will kick off with the DC6 Singers, a Capella group and include opening remarks, culminating in photo opportunity where speakers will launch a dozen colorful beach balls into the air. Following opening remarks, participants will organize on the sand to participate in an aerial photo of guests making a shape of a beach ball. For more information about all the activities planned, click here.
