October 8, 2020 4:48 PM

The City of Santa Monica, along with Bet Tzedek, Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, and Glaser Weil, will host an online “know your rights” information session titled Tenant Protections During COVID-19 for renters October 14, 2020 at 6 p.m.

Renters can learn about Santa Monica tenant protections and schedule an appointment with an attorney. The session will be presented in English and Spanish and include an overview of the City’s Eviction Moratorium and AB 3088 (California COVID-19 Tenant Relief Act of 2020).

Santa Monica enacted its Eviction Moratorium in March to protect the health and safety of its residents, workers, and visitors during the global pandemic. California extended those protections in August with the passage of AB 3088.
