2021 State of the City “Our Community Road to Recovery Summit”

SANTA MONICA, Calif. – The Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the City of Santa Monica presents its annual, State of the City on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. from the Zoom podium.  

In keeping with this year’s theme, “Our Community Road to Recovery ,” the Keynote Speaker will be Congressman Ted Lieu to offer his insights on the path to recovery on a national level.  Welcome remarks will be provided by Chamber President, Laurel Rosen.  Interim City Manager Lane Dilg and Mayor Sue Himmelrich will take the virtual stage to deliver the 2021 State of the City address to share where we are today after the historic challenges of the last year and how we walk together as we rebuild.  

The event is expected to attract residents and leaders of Santa Monica companies. Boston Properties, Providence St. John’s Health Center, Cedar Sinai, Optimum Seismic, and Santa Monica Travel and Tourism are among the sponsors scheduled to attend, representing an overview of Santa Monica’s diverse industries.

Tickets are being offered complimentary to our community this year with registration. The virtual event will air live on CityTV Channel 16 and will be streamed on the City of Santa Monica’s YouTube channel.
