How to Film or Have a Photo Shoot at Annenberg Community Beach House

The Annenberg Community Beach House is available for commercial, non-profit, student film, and still photography shoots. Please check with the Beach House Sales office for availability, pricing and information. Once confirmed, all permits will be issued through FilmLA. Please be aware FilmLA and the City of Santa Monica may take up to 5 days to approve filming.

Filming and still photography at the Beach House may take place Monday through Friday from 7am to 10pm. All crew and equipment are required to be offsite by 11pm. Filming and photo shoots are not permitted on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, holiday weekends and between Memorial Day to Labor Day.  

The Beach House may require, at the client’s cost, the presence of Santa Monica Fire Department and/or Santa Monica Police Department to ensure safety of the public and the site.
