How to Get a Rent Control Status Form

Have you been asked to provide a Rent Control staus form for your project? Sometimes a permit application will require certification by the Rent Control Administration of the Rent Control status of the property. Rent Control staff will prepare the status form for you upon request. 

Continue the Process:

The easiest way to get a Rent Control status form is by email. Turnaround time is usually 24 hours. 

  1. Email Rent Control Staff

    Address the email to rentcontrol@santamonica.gov

    Please write "Status Form" in the subject line of your email. 

    Provide the following information in your email request.  

    1.  Property Address                     
    2. APN/MPP Number
    3. Owner or Applicant Name
    4. Mailing Address
    5. Current Use of Property 
    6. Type of Application: ( ie, Demo, CUP, etc) 
  2. Check Your Inbox

    We will prepare a Status Form in pdf form for you and send it back to the email address you provide.

  3. Upload the form to ProjectDox

    + -

    Add the pdf of the Status Form to your electronic submittal by uploading it to ProjectDox.
