How to Pay Your Utility Bill

To pay your water, sewage, and refuse bill, utilize one of the following options below. 

To submit a one-time payment via e-check, debit card or credit card, click here.

To enroll in automatic payments, follow the steps below:

  1. Register Online

    Click here and complete the Web Access Registration form to create a username and password to access your account online. You will receive a confirmation email to activate your account once you have successfully completed this step.

  2. Log In to your Account

    Once you have completed your registration, click here and log in using your username and password.

  3. Enroll in AutoPay

    Once you have logged in, click on the Bills & Payments tab, select AutoPay, and then click on (+) Add Schedule to enter your recurring payment information. You will receive a confirmation email after successfully completing this step. 

Utility payments can be submitted in person at City Hall via the following options.

  1. City Hall Counter by Appointment

    Schedule an appointment to pay at the City Hall counter by clicking here

    • Location: 1685 Main Street, City Hall East, Santa Monica, CA 90401  
    • Hours of Operation: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 3:00pm
  2. City Hall Drop Box

    If you do not wish to make an appointment, you may submit your payment via the Finance Drop Box located outside of the entrance of City Hall East. Please ensure that your payment is submitted along with the utility account number in a sealed envelope.

    • Location: 1685 Main Street, City Hall East, Santa Monica, CA 90401  
    • Hours of Operation: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  1. Mail Your Payment

    Check or money order payments can be submitted by mail to the address below. Please be sure to include your invoice stub or indicate your account number along with your payment.
