How reserve a tennis court. Note: Santa Monica residents that purchase a Resident Reservation Card will have priority.

Reservation Card can be purchase at www.smgov.net/reserve and click on "Membership" tab. Note: The reservation card is valid for one year. Card hold my reserve courts up tp three days in advance. Membership does not include an court fees, however, it does allow the holder to purchase a quarterly pass.

Which tennis courts can be reserved?

Reed Park - 6 lighted court located at 7th and Wilshire Blvd.
Ocean View Park - 6 non-lighted courts located at 2600 Bernard Way. Reservation available year on Saturday & Sunday. Weekday reservation available during the summer season only (Memorial Day through Labor Day).

Are there tennis courts available for free, drop-in, non-reservation use at City Parks?

Clover Park(2 lighted courts located at 25th and Ocean Park Blvd) Daily 8:00am to 10:00pm
Douglas Park (2 lighted courts located at 25th and Wilshire Blvd) Daily 8:00am to 10:00pm
Los Amigos Park (1 lighted court located at 6th and Hollister Ave. (Court is available only when school classes or sponsored programs are not in session which is usually on weekdays after 6pm or all day on weekends.) 8:00am to 10:00pm weekends only (Court is also available when school classes or sponsored programs are not in session, usually on weekdays after 6:00pm
Marine Park (3 lighted courts located at 17th and Marine St.) Daily 8:00am to 10:00pm
Memorial Park (4 lighted courts located at 14th and Olympic Blvd.) the Memorial Park tennis/pickleball courts open daily 8:00am-10:00pm.

Are tennis courts located at public school sites available for free, drop-in, non-reservation use?

Santa Monica High School – 7 non-lighted courts available during the following hours unless closed for maintenance, school use, school holidays, City programs, or permitted use. A permit is required for use of Santa Monica High School courts.
Monday-Friday during the school year 6pm–dusk.
Monday-Friday during school breaks 8am–dusk.
Saturdays year round 7am-dusk.
Sundays year round 8am-dusk.

How do I cancel my court reservation?

If you wish to cancel a court reservation, you must call 310.394.6011 or come in person to Reed Park no later than six hours before reservation time or you will be assessed a $4 No Show/Late Cancelation Fee for each hour reserved.

Can I make a same day reservation?

Non-residents or residents who do not have a Reservation Card (see above) my reserve a court on the same day of play.
