Business License Modernization Project

On November 5, 2024, the voters of Santa Monica passed Measure F, also known as the 2024 Business License Modernization Measure. The measure amends the Santa Monica Municipal Code (SMMC) Chapters 6.04, 6.08, 6.12 and 6.16 of the Santa Monica Municipal Code to modernize the City’s Business License Tax program.
