Santa Monica's Private Outdoor Space Program allows eligible commercial businesses to expand their operations within an existing commercial building onto outdoor area located within the property - parking lots, courtyards, and rooftops. Unlike sidewalk dining or parklets, which operate on the public right-of-way, this program is focused exclusively for eligible businesses to expand operations outdoors within their commercially owned site.
