FREE COVID-19 Assurance Program

The Santa Monica Shines COVID-19 Assurance Program is a new platform geared to help our business community understand and implement COVID-19 safety requirements. The FREE online program is designed to support businesses with safely reopening and operating during this health emergency. Upon completion, businesses will receive a Santa Monica Shines graphic for use in promotional materials and a window cling to proudly display to their customers and our community!

  • Each business needs to designate one Safety Supervisor who will be responsible for registering the location. This requires filling out a brief online questionnaire about the implementation of LA County Health Department’s Safety Protocols.
  • Once your location is registered, the rest of the team can sign up and take the online safety and empathy courses and review the customized COVID-19 Safety Protocols Packet.
  • We will then verify that each location is compliant by having businesses schedule a visit with a team member to conduct an online or on-site walk through to receive the Santa Monica Shines Assurance Seal to display in the window.  This shows your team members and the public that you take safety seriously!

Let’s begin!
