Bergamot Area Plan Objective Design Standards Virtual Working Group Session #2

This is the second in a series of technical working group sessions to get specific feedback on the draft objective design standards. Technical Working Group participants (for housing production) who participated during the Housing Element Update, affordable housing providers, architects, and developers are encouraged to attend!  

• Discussion on developing potential standards for high-rise residential buildings using State Density Bonus.   
• Building modulation standards;  
• Open space design standards; 
• Opportunity for discussion and feedback on design standards for the BAP that will support housing production in the Bergamot area. 

About the Bergamot Area Plan Design Standards: In coordination with the City’s Housing Element Program 1.E, this project will develop objective design standards that incentivize and support housing production in the Bergamot area. This project seeks to simplify and revise existing BAP design standards related to ground floor design, building modulation, open space, etc.
