The next General Municipal Election will be on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.  The Nomination Period for this election starts on July 15 and more information will be posted before this date.  In the meantime, please contact the City Clerk's Office at clerk@santamonica.gov or (310) 458-8211 for questions.

The following initiative petition was not filed with the City Clerk's Office before the end of the circulation period:

An initiative measure to amend the Santa Monica Municipal Code to increase the minimum hourly wage for hotel workers, prevent hotels from adopting a policy whereby hotel rooms are not cleaned and sanitized after each night of occupation, restrict the use of contract or temporary labor to clean rooms, and adjust thresholds for premium pay to hotel room cleaners.
