Green Burial

Green or natural burial is a form of interment designed to have minimal environmental impact. Only decomposable caskets and biodegradable urns are used and there are no cement vaults. No embalming fluids are used as they contain toxic substances such as formaldehyde. 

Eternal Meadow is the section of Woodlawn devoted exclusively to green/natural burial.
