Big Voice: Documentary Screening and Filmmaker Q&A at Santa Monica Public Library

Santa Monica, California – Santa Monica Public Library welcomes producer-director Varda Bar-Kar for a screening and discussion of her documentary Big Voice in the Main Library’s Martin Luther King Jr. Auditorium on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.

Big Voice captures a tumultuous year in the life of Jeffe Huls, the visionary choir teacher at Santa Monica High School and his students as they overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles to become one big voice. Following the screening of this inspiring musical documentary, film producer Varda Bar-Kar and special guests discuss the making of the film and the impact it has had since the film’s first release. 

This program is free.  Seating is limited and on a first arrival basis.  The Santa Monica Public Library is wheelchair accessible. Bicycle parking racks are available at the library.
