Santa Monica City Employee Demographics

Introducing our new open data demographic dashboard, designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the City’s employees. This interactive tool displays information on gender, pay type, and position title, among other key data points.

The data presented here is interactive and can be viewed by clicking on or moving your cursor over different areas within the charts. The data is made available to the public in an effort to be more open and transparent.

Please note: The “Reset Filters” button will reset all the filters, but it will not clear selected chart segments. If you clicked a portion of the graph as a filter, you will need to click on it again to clear it.

Race/ethnicity is self-identified by the employee at the time of hire. Data is updated annually.
