Read with Roger

Looking for an opportunity to practice your reading skills in a nonjudgmental environment? Check out Read with Roger, Santa Monica Public Library’s series for practice reading out loud to Santa Monica Fire Department’s inaugural K-9 Peer Support member. Roger, an English Labrador, is a certified support animal who provides comfort to firefighters and the public alike. During your 15-minute session, you will be able to sit with Roger and his handler while you read from a book of your choosing, or you can pick one from a selection we will have on hand that day. 

For ages 5 - 11 and invited adult learners.
