Welcome to Santa Monica's Community Recreation Classes
Fall outdoor recreation classes will begin September 28. The City of Santa Monica continues to place the highest value on the health and safety of our community. In compliance with LA County Public Health Guidelines, additional mandatory Safety Protocols and Procedures will be implemented in an effort to keep us all safe during this time.
• Maintain physical distancing of six feet at all times.
• Face coverings are required at all times, including during play.
• Stay home if you are feeling unwell or sick.
• Wash hands frequently.

Priority online registration will open to Santa Monica residents on Thursday, September 17, at 8:00 a.m. Non-resident registration will open Monday, September 21, at 8:00 a.m. Registration is available online only; walk-in registration will not be accepted.
Most classes and camps require an account via ActiveNet, the City's online registration system. To initially create and account, visit smgov.net/reserve and follow these easy steps:
To Create An Account:
1) Click on "Create an Account" and follow the prompts to enter your information.
2) Your user name will default to your email address, and once your information is entered, you will be prompted to create a password.
3) Remember to keep your user name and password secure and readily available for easy registration in the future.

For information related to COVID-19:
Refunds/Transfers: A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refund/transfer requests must be made in writing to the respective program office either in person or by fax, mail, or email. Class refunds and transfers will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Camp refunds will be issued only with medical documentation or if requested within five calendar days prior to the first meeting. Refunds will be prorated.
Cancellations: A full refund will be granted if the activity is cancelled. All dates, times, locations, and instructors are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to combine classes as needed or cancel programs due to insufficient enrollment. Due to the organizational needs of group classes, we are not able to offer makeups for days missed by the student.
Material Fees: For classes and camps with material fees, they are payable to the instructor in cash on the first day of class. Material fees are not discountable or refundable.
