General Election 2026

As a renter in the Pico Neighborhood, I understand the experiences and challenges faced by Santa Monicans who rely on rent control to stay in their homes. I have been a community advocate working behind-the-scenes for many years to fight against evictions and displacement. Through my lived experience with my family, I've earned the trust necessary to connect tenants, the agency, and the Board in order to provide the information and assistance residents need. It is crucial that tenants and landlords are aware of their rights and responsibilities.

My goal is to help our community exercise its rights as tenants. 

If elected, I will enforce our rent control law and support any amendments or legislation that benefit renters. As a Commissioner, I will advocate for our community by working alongside stakeholders to ensure that our rent control laws remain strong and effective. I will be a fair and impartial decision-maker who can work effectively with both tenants and owners.

I know how important it is for our city to protect families from being priced-out of Santa Monica. We are stronger as a community when we know that our representatives support and take care of our interests.
