FRIENDSGIVING !!!

Our Tree of Thanks will be decorated at this Annual Event showing appreciation for those people, places and things that we love.  Come help us decorate the space in this welcoming and rewarding space. 

Did you know that since it opened in 2017, Ishihara Park Learning Garden has produced nearly 25,000 pounds of fresh produce?  All of grown by the community for the community.  

Garden Pancakes on the griddle start at 9:00 AM.  Bring your kitchen scraps to add to our Community Composting System (and take a bit if you need some for your home garden).  We will also have vegetable and flower seeds to simply take home and start, or use some of our potting soil to start your own nursery.  If you've never had pancakes in a garden, you're missing something special.  

We will have a Tree Planting dedication at 10:30 AM to celebrate the expansion of our Urban Orchard, made possible through the dedication of our Community Garden Volunteers, City of SM Public Landscape and our Office of Sustainability and the Environment.
