Parklets

The Santa Monica Outdoors Parklet Manual and application portal are now live. The new Parklet Manual provides a comprehensive overview of the goals, policies, procedures and requirements to help you set up your parklet. The application portal allows applicants to easily upload their required documents for review by City staff. The transition from the temporary program to the permanent program will begin mid-August with fees taking effect October 1, 2022.  Existing operators interested in keeping their parklet must transition to the permanent program no later than September 15, 2022. New applicants who are interested in a parklet can apply anytime.
