Community Mapping

Santa Monica Public Library's Community Mapping initiative seeks to better align library programs and services with the needs of the community. This effort aims to enhance the library’s role as an inclusive and accessible space for all, while fostering sustainable community partnerships. 

As part of the initiative, SMPL will collect feedback through a Community Mapping survey, host focus groups, offer interactive activities at the library’s five locations, and engage with patrons at community and library events. Feedback will be evaluated to help inform future programs and services. 

This collaborative effort aims to ensure the library serves the diverse needs of the Santa Monica community.
